Visit of Tatsuya Hiraoka

Tatsuya Hiraoka at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) visited our laboratory and gave a talk.

The title of his talk was, “The importance and future of word segmentation”. He explained the state-of-the-art methods and their performance on Japanese word segmentation. In addition, we exchange the ideas for `good’ segumentation in the era of deep neural networks.
